PLANET
Kapp was ‘green’ before the term even existed
Heat transfer is inherently a sustainable process. At Kapp, we recognized this fact even before sustainability became a widely known concept in 1997. We understand that energy efficiency not only benefits the environment but also saves costs. As an organization, we prioritize sustainability and strive to minimize our ecological footprint while making a positive impact on the environment.
Kapp recognizes the environmental impact of its operations and is committed to minimizing it. We aim to reduce our CO2 emissions and optimize our use of raw materials. Additionally, we collaborate with our suppliers to promote sustainability throughout the supply chain. We take pride in our accomplishments and continually strive to improve our sustainability practices. Our sustainability reports, which are available for download on this page, provide details on our energy consumption, CO2 emissions, and waste reduction efforts, among other topics.
PEOPLE
Vital company
At Kapp, vitality is not just an HR topic but a core value closely aligned with our mission to provide employees with a place where they can develop professionally and feel at home. Our vision of vitality goes beyond physical health; for us, it also means job satisfaction, engagement, and a culture where colleagues feel heard and valued. For this, Kapp was awarded the Vital Company Badge. The Vital Company Badge is an initiative of the independent Vital Company program by VNO-NCW and MKB-Nederland.
To receive the certification, we assessed employee vitality through an (external) survey and offer activities focused on various vitality themes such as physical activity, smoking, alcohol & drugs, nutrition, and mental balance. We ensure that vitality at Kapp is not just an ambition but a daily reality that benefits everyone.
